Elephant Country is a handloom and handicraft brand conceptualised by Balipara Foundation. Elephant Country products are symbolic of the inter-dependent relationship between man and elephants. Crafted by local artisans from Elephant Country these products tell the story of coexistence and a unique bond of nurturing and being nurtured. The idea behind these products is to provide alternative sources of revenue generation and therefore, livelihood to many forest-fringe communities.
