Elephant Country Tej Patta Powder (Bay Leaf Powder) is sourced from the farms of Trinity Saioo, school teacher and farmer from the ethnic Khasi community of Meghalaya, India in the Eastern Himalayan region. Her work has enabled women farmers to more than triple their household incomes.
Trinity Saioo was honoured with Padma Shri in 2020 by the Government of India and Balipara Foundation Award in 2020 by Balipara Foundation.
